Utility infielder Greg Colbrunn, recovering from a troublesome right wrist, spent about 10 minutes taking early batting practice Tuesday and hopes to rejoin the club for the final month of the season.

Colbrunn's quick bat gives him the ability to turn around any fastball. He feasts on fastballs from the middle in, and he has good home-run power. He also has improved his ability to make solid contact on balls away from him.
